Mine Operators
Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mine Operator to join our mining operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to safely and efficiently extract ore, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. This role plays a critical part in the day-to-day operations of the mine, contributing to production targets and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, haul trucks, loaders and bulldozers in an open-cut mining operation.
- Follow mine plans, safety protocols, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance with company and government requirements.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on mining equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Communicate effectively with shift supervisors, dispatchers, and maintenance teams to optimise production efficiency.
- Monitor material movement and report any issues affecting productivity or safety.
- Assist in digging and hauling activities as required.
Identify and report potential hazards, equipment malfunctions, and operational risks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Mine Operator in an open-pit or underground mining environment.
- Competency in operating haul trucks, excavators, dozers, graders, or other mining equipment .
- Understanding of mining regulations, workplace safety, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret mine plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong situational awareness and ability to operate in high-risk environments.
- Valid driver’s license.
First Aid and CPR certification (desirable).

Position Description
We are seeking experienced Processing Plant Operators to join our team in overseeing the efficient operation of our gold processing plant. The successful candidates will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing plant processes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient gold recovery while adhering to environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor crushing and gravity separation processes for the gold processing plant.
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Adjust processing parameters to optimise gold recovery while minimising downtime.
- Perform sampling and testing of ore, slurry, and processed materials to maintain product quality.
- Assist in troubleshooting plant equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs and servicing.
- Follow strict safety and environmental guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document operational data, including throughput rates, reagent usage, and process deviations.
- Participate in plant shutdowns and maintenance programs as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational integrity of all plant areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Processing Plant Operator in a gold or mineral processing environment.
- Sound knowledge of crushing, grinding, flotation, and gold extraction methods.
- Ability to interpret process flowsheets, equipment manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) and environmental management practices.
- Relevant trade qualification or processing certifications (desirable).

Excavator / Truck Drivers
Position Description: Excavator / Dump Truck Operator (Gold Mine – Earthmoving)
About the Role:
We are seeking skilled Excavator / Dump Truck Operators to join our open-pit gold mining operation. This role is responsible for safely operating heavy haul trucks and excavators to transport overburden, waste rock, and ore within the mine site. The successful candidates will work as part of a production team, ensuring efficient material movement while adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate rigid and/or articulated dump trucks to transport dirt, ore, and waste rock across the mining site.
- Follow designated haul routes and obey traffic management plans.
- Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Work closely with excavator, loader, and dozer operators to optimise load cycles.
- Ensure compliance with mine safety procedures, including fatigue management and PPE requirements.
- Report equipment faults, road hazards, or unsafe conditions to the shift supervisor.
- Assist in general site duties when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience operating dump trucks and Excavators in a mining or civil earthmoving environment.
- Understanding of safe work procedures and haul truck operations.
- Current driver’s license
Competency for dump truck operations (highly desirable).

Exploration Geologists
Position Description: Exploration Geologist (Gold Mine)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Exploration Geologist to support gold exploration activities within our mining operations. This role is responsible for conducting geological mapping, core logging, sampling, and data analysis to identify and evaluate new gold deposits.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct geological mapping, rock sampling, and soil sampling to identify potential gold-bearing zones.
Supervise and log drilling programs (RC and diamond drilling), ensuring accurate data collection.
Interpret geophysical and geochemical data to assess orebody potential.
Manage core handling, sampling, and assay quality control.
Utilize GIS and geological modelling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, Surpac) to analyze and visualize geological data.
Prepare exploration reports and technical documentation for management and regulatory compliance.
Ensure all exploration activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with mining teams to optimize mine planning and resource estimation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience in gold exploration within an open-pit or underground mining environment.
- Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, Surpac, ArcGIS).
- Strong understanding of mineralization systems and structural geology.
- Experience with drill rig supervision and core logging.
Valid driver’s license (4WD experience preferred).
