We’ve officially wrapped Season 1 of Gold Wars Down Under – and the battle for gold is about to hit the TV screens around the world.

Gold Wars Down Under is a new Australian documentary-reality series that premieres across Europe on the History Channel in January 2026, with Australia and other regions rolling out soon after.

The new television show follows three rival gold-mining teams – including our own Maverkade Mining Crew – who face off in a brutal contest: to see who can extract the most gold before the season ends.

Each of the three mining teams brings its own methods, technology and strong opinions – and they clash hard. The rivalry is real, and so is the war between approaches. All of it unfolds on our mine in Clermont, Queensland, one of the richest harshest, deadliest, and most unforgiving gold regions on the planet.
